JUNIOR BOYS BASKETBALL - History was made Wednesday night. From the point of not being able to register a team at the beginning of season, to winning the Halton finals last night, the junior boys basketball team have put abbey Park basketball on the map. Though the game was tight, the boys were in complete control last night at Sheridan against Aldershot and managed a win to cap off their UNDEFEATED season. The boys don't take Ls to anyone. Many thanks to the office staff, coach k and coach merner from Iroquois Ridge who made this season possible - HALTON CHAMPS BABY!    CHESS CLUB - Do you like to play chess? Come to chess club Fridays after school in room 211.     FIELD HOCKEY - Attention Indoor Field Hockey players: The Clarkson indoor tournament is next week. Please come to a meeting after school today in Room 208 to discuss rules and equipment.     JUNIOR FOOTBALL AND JUNIOR RUGBY - Would the following students please stop at the library after announcements to see Mr. Hepburn: Dylin Brown, Lucas Cipolla, Nolan Griffith, Cole Hislop, Justin Jang, Kingsley McKee, Alex Vafaei, Owen van Voorst, Andrei Adam, Jordan Gould, Matt Henderson, Adam Hill, Connor McKay, Adam Rostom, and Sean Stodulski.      JUNIOR HOCKEY -  Any Grade 9 or 10 student wishing to play Junior hockey this year, must attend a quick meeting on Tuesday the 27th. The meeting will be in the Fitness Centre and will start at 2:50.     KRISPY KREME SALE - Satisfy your sweet tooth this Friday, that's tomorrow, with some delicious krispy kreme donuts! Drop by the foyer during periods 3 & 4 tomorrow, they are $1 for one and $10 for a dozen while supplies last!     PROM COMMITEE  - Hey grade 12’s! There will be a short prom committee meeting today after school in room 217! Everyone is welcome, see you there!   SOCIAL CHANGE - This is just a friendly reminder that there is a Social Change meeting today after school in room 204. New members are always welcome!
