APHS MODEL UN - Abbey Park's Model United Nations team continues to shine at the HaltonMUN competition. All delegates, grade 9 though 12, made an impact on their respective committees, debating real-world issues with a passion and articulation that would make their parents and every teacher they've ever had very proud! Of the 8 awards presented, our team took home a whopping 5! This was their second MUN of three this season, culminating in the Southern Ontario Model Assembly at the U of T in April - where they will undoubtedly make an impression, as well. Wish them luck.      MOCK PARLIAMENT - Do you want to engage in a debate with students from across Oakville on the environment, mental health or the fifteen dollar minimum wage? Do you want to get familiar with how parliament works? If YES, then come to the model parliament happening right here at Abbey Park on Friday April 13th from 8 to 10 in the morning. This FREE event will led by the actual Speaker of the Ontario House - Dave Levac - so guarantee your spot online at Abbey Park's website. For those considering attending the event, please fill out this google form to RESERVE your spot.
JUNIOR BOYS RUGBY - Grade Ten Boys rugby players have a meeting right after school today in room 208. That meeting is for GRADE TEN boys rugby players ONLY. The meeting will start at 2:55 and will be over by 3:15.      VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY - Do you need volunteer hours? Abbey Park is looking for 10 students to help on our Parent Teacher Interview night this Thursday. Please sign-up in Guidance if you are able to help.
