Mental Health Week - Did you know that 1 in 5 Canadian Youth are affected by a mental illness or disorder? The importance of self care is paramount to good mental health and well being. Proper nutrition, hydration, sleep and exercise is key. It is all a matter of balance between work and play. When you take care of yourself, you're also able to take care of others. This creates a feeling of connectedness and that we all belong.

At Abbey Park we are celebrating Children's Mental Health Awareness week with a number of activities over the lunch periods. Today, please join us in the foyer for our Community Fair. Pick up a passport, speak with 10 agencies and enter your ballot in a draw for some great prizes....so come out and learn about the agencies in our community that promote our mental well being!
